Our Pastor - Phil Molloy
Phil is the Pastor of Cornerstone Church and has lived in Spain since 2007, was a teacher for many years, most recently at a local International School. Phil has been a member of this Pilar English speaking church since 2010. Her vision as Pastor is to “Bring the church into the Community and the Community into the Church.” This is being achieved through various initiatives you can see across the website.
Sandie Coates
Sandie made this her spiritual home in 2016 and has been treasurer since 2019.
Sandie is on the Worship Team, was elected church Elder in March 2023 and is a crucial part of all areas of church life.
Cindy Sinclair
Cindy joined Pilar church in 2016.
She is on the Worship team and p.a. support. She helps run our Friday Coffee Morning and coordinates maintenance and care for our premises with Charlie. And along with Della, Cindy also provides for our Sunday School needs.
Chris Brain
Chris joined us in 2019 she is a giver of time, energy and love.
She quietly gets on with organising those jobs that no-one sees, but without which we would be lost. She is also on our Friday Coffee Morning team and maintains Cornerstone’s shop.
Pauline & Rachel
Pauline and Rachel are our Sunday “Tithes & Offerings” monitors. A serious and necessary part of church life, and though we are few, “all is done decently and in order” (1 Cor 14:40).
Rachel also oversees the kitchen rota and Pauline provides for our Communion service, volunteers with Pat for our Friday Coffee Morning and supports Chris with Cornerstone’s shop.
Dixie Dixon
Dixie volunteered last year to help with “pushing buttons” on the p.a. system, and now finds herself uploading pictures, inputting song words and coping with the various upsets that p.a. systems tend to have … and she still smiles.
Dixie is also on the media team.
Sue Ward
Sue joined us in 2025 and has volunteered her time and skills to fill the role of secretary.
We look forward to worshipping and working together, learning and moving forward at a deeper level.
Antonio Lopez
Antonio, a native of Alicante, has been in ministry since 1988 as Pastor of the Cristo Vive Church in Alicante, along with his wife, Mari Carmen. He also been the Assemblies of God coordinator of the Levante and Murcia region (FRALEMA) for 15 years, serving other pastors and churches in the area. He continues as mentor and AOG support link with the local Levante Fraternity.
There are of course more folk who help out in various ways and together we are the church, Everybody together makes it work. Everyone has something to offer in one sphere of service or another.
